On September 23, 1958 Mr. and Mrs. Carl and the late Grace Cole were blessed with a beautiful daughter from our heavenly Father in Akron, Ohio. She was the third of five children to this marriage.
She and her family attended Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Frank Williams and was baptized there as a teenager.
She graduated from East High School and attended Akron University.
She began working for Ohio Bell telephone as a directory assistance operator and relocated to Michigan Bell in 1980 and in 1981 she and her sister began a new adventure in Houston Texas working for Southwestern Bell (AT&T). She retired after over 30 years when her health began to fail after many successful promotions with the company as a senior level manager in the business department.
When she retired the companies had merged into AT&T and she had many successful promotions with the company, she retired as her health failed as a senior level manager in the business department.
She was an avid swimmer, loved to travel and was a fun loving person.
She leaves her beautiful daughter, Lyndsay Camille Cole who will miss her dearly and her father, Carl H. Cole Sr. Two sisters: Adrienne Black (Michael) and Kimberly Bledsoe (Gary) of Houston, Texas. Two brothers: Carl Cole Jr. and Robert Cole (Kellie) of Akron, Ohio. She also leaves six nieces and nephews: Robbie Cole II , Morgan Cole, Jordan and Jaeden Sensabaugh, of Akron, Ohio, Adrien Black (Monique) of Austin, Texas, and Atiya Black of Houston, Texas, and a host of great nieces and nephews and friends. She also leaves behind her “Granddog” Bam Bam.

Services for Ms. Cole will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012, with a visitation for 11am - 12:50pm. Funeral Services will follow beginning at 1:00pm. Both services will be held in the Garden of Hope Chapel of Paradise Funeral Home.

Interment: Paradise North Cemetery
